The Pacenti SL23 Rim

Below is an image of how the Pacenti SL23 stacks up to the leading competition.

I personally ride a set of Pacenti SL23′s with Sapim CX-Ray spokes and they are by far my favorite wheelset. Fast, stiff and extremely durable. I use them on the road, gravel and cyclocross. They are tubeless ready But I do not currently run them tubeless because I change out the tires too often depending on how I want to ride them and the season. On the road, I will run either 23c or 25c wide tires.

Shimano Ultegra Di2 RD Modification

I customer who just had knee surgery asked if I could modify his Shimano Ultegra Di2 (6770) rear derailleur so he could have more gear and go up to a 32 tooth rear cassette. I replaced the standard SS cage with a new mechanical Ultegra GS cage. In addition to this change, a longer B-screw was needed to provide clearance between the derailleur and the cassette. Worked out perfectly!

Pacenti SL23 Powertap Wheel Build

Pacenti SL23 rims with a Powertap G3 rear hub and a matching Powertap front hub. Front wheel was a 20 spoke radial build and the rear was a 24 spoke 2x build. Both the front and rear were built with black Sapim CX-Ray spokes and Sapim brass nipples. The client is going to be setting them up tubeless. This is going to make a great training wheelset.
